New Cookware! HOORAY!

What a wonderful EARLY Christmas gift from my family! I received the 12 piece (plus bonus all purpose pan) calphalon anodized aluminum set with silicone grip handles so I can put the set directly in the oven if need be. This is my DREAM set! (And being priced between $200-$400 everywhere, I didn't think I'd ever get it.)

So what does one do with new cookware? COOK!

I have not had any large pots or pans in months and months since they broke and the teflan coating was chipping off. So I haven't been able to do any large scale cooking. So today I am working the set by making chicken stock, followed by hashbrowns to go with the pulled chicken sandwiches for dinner. I got to get my practice in. I was given this set early because I am hosting Thanksgiving this year.

Can't you just smell this lovely stock?!
