How about a give away!!!?? Gerber Daisy Seed!

Would you believe while I was out in the garden I still have happy healthy Gerber Daisies in bloom!? Well, I do and they are lovely still.... I managed to catch a finished one in time to collect the seeds from a red flower and a super pale pink. So I will be giving away a pack of seeds to someone who wants them.

Just sign up here in the comments section, say which color you would want if you win and an email address or way of contact (if it links to your own blog where I can contact you that is fine). I have this posted on several forums, blogs, facebook and twitter. So please don't assume I know who you are and where you are from to hunt you down if you win. If I can't contact you right away I will go to the next possible winner of the seed!

So, Next week I will pick someone on Monday to win one pack of seeds. You get to chose between pink gerber daisies, or Red!

Here's a pic of the one's I have gotten this morning to bring in the house! Sorry, the cute little one stays with me!

  2. She's always around, super helpful in the garden, but never with the cleaning in the house! She gets away with it being so cute though! I couldn't be without her for 10 minutes though :) Such a lovey!

  4. They will Lauren! They hate super cold temps, so they will be annuals up there, or you could grow them in pots and take them in once temps drop below 60 degrees daily in the fall. They like mostly sun at least 4 solid hours a day... but they hate over 6 hours. They also do not bloom if temps are over 80 for too long. Like I never get blooms in July and August, but they come back in Septmeber here. They obviously don't care that its is December now!

  8. Well I got daisies! SO don't worry... they will all be available next Monday. Alma, Try to get them in a spot where they are lined by another larger plant that will block late day sun. They thrive well with full morning light, or full evening light best. Kept partially shaded when the temps rise help them flower a lot. They aren't as hardy as they look, and shasta daisies are much much hardier. Not as pretty in my opinion. My wedding flower were red gerber daisies... so I had to have some in my gardens.
